OverView
Develop a native mobile app, as well as a web portal for Detroit based DTE Energy. Users would be able to have both detailed information about ttheir own accounts, but also features to enhance their experience.
The Challenge
Incorporating useful information and features, dependant on the format itself. The web portal would allow for greater detail on useage, but the app needed to have the ability to access some of that information. Both experiences needed to have tools that would allow the user to interact with things like bill payment, energy usage information, and access information for multiple accounts.
The Solution
Both experiences were designed working with the clients on site, incorporating feedback and revisions as the project went along. Both experiences were built upon DTE Energy’s branding and colors at that time to capture the cohesion with their current web based properties. Client was presented with designs and working code based prototypes at the end of this part of the process.
