A native phone and tablet app that can be used to facilitate sales of good and services at venues, events, etc...
The Challenge
Create a native app that can serve as a virtual store front, for sales of things such as registration fees, merchandise, concessions, etc... The app needed to be able to allow for the administrative user to create line items on the fly, be able to pull from a catalog of items previously entered, as well as be able to save new items to that library for future use. The app would connect to a bluetooth card reader, which could be used in various locations such as games and registration events. There would also be a web portal that would allow the user to have greater control over their catalog of items, order tracking, and in depth information on items, sales, etc...
The Solution
Native app environment was created for both phone and tablet, allowing the user to enter custom line items, save those items to a catalog (if desired), as well as pull items from the catalog into the sales flow. The user had the ability to edit catalog items to control naming or cost of items. The app had the ability to connect to previously used card readers, as well as search for other readers in proximity to connect to for use. An accompying web portal was created to allow the user to have greater control over the processes like catalog organization, sales info, and other data points.
